As we are going through this quarantine season… I have begun to realize the items that I keep in my pantry are very important! I have worked to start stock piling my pantry so that I can cook and eat various things without having to run to the store. This list below is some things I have decided need to remain in my pantry… even when we get past this quarantine season.

 

Grains and Beans

Oats -instant and old fashion

Quinoa

Rice

Dry beans like chickpeas, red beans, black beans and lentils

Granola

Pasta – noodles of all kinds

Canned Goods

Tomatoes – diced, paste, or crushed

Canned fruit

Canned fish like tuna, salmon, sardines

Broth – vegetable and chicken

Vegetables – green beans, asparagus, spinach

Nuts, Seeds and Dried Fruit

Nuts – almonds, walnuts, or pecans

Dried fruit – raisins, cranberries, or blueberries

Nut/seed Butters – almond or peanut

Oil and Vinegar

Oil – vegetable, coconut, avocado, and olive

Vinegar – balsamic, apple cider vinegar

Condiments

Ketchup

Mustard

Soy Sauce

Maple syrup

Salad dressings

Long Lasting Veggies

Onions

Potatoes – sweet potatoes and white potatoes

Squash – spaghetti squash or butternut

Baking Supplies

Flour– all purpose, almond, or coconut

Veggies – lettuce/ spinach, tomatoes, carrots, broccoli, cauliflower, bell peppers, cucumbers, squash, zucchini

Meat / Seafood – chicken, lean beef, ground turkey, salmon, or tilapia

Milk – Whole, Skim or Almond

Freezer Staples

Frozen burgers, steaks, game

Frozen fruit – blueberries, banana, and mango

Frozen veggies – stir-fry veggie blends, edamame, cauliflower, broccoli, peas and corn

Frozen seafood – salmon, shrimp, and tilapia
