This week we are featuring another employee – Anna Andrews! Anna works in Operations as a Customer Care Specialist and has been with the company for 5 months now. Read through what she had to say about her current wellness journey in our question and answer session.

 

What is your motivation in your wellness journey?

                Long term, holistic health is the biggest motivating factor for me. I want to be physically and mentally healthy as long as possible. I believe that exercising, eating well, and keeping stress low and gratitude up is the best way to do so.

What is your weekly exercise routine?

                I like to really mix up my workouts. I try to do aerobic activity about 3x per week, and resistance training 2-3x per week as well. Bonus points for me if I also do a functional training or yoga workout in there to work out different muscles and stretch some as well.

What has been the best part of this journey?

                Watching myself make progress is the best part for me!

What do you find is a daily struggle?

                Almost every day the thought comes to mind that I shouldn’t work out when I get home. I have gotten better over time at reminding myself that I will feel better if I just do it!

If someone wanted to start their own journey – how would you encourage them?

                I would encourage them to start, even if its small! Start with something you love to do and as you start to see improvements and get more comfortable with your exercise routine, branch out to challenge yourself and see what else is out there that you may love!
