Today, we will finish our “Energy Booster” series focusing on different “feelings” we may experience throughout our day, week, or month. If you missed one of the first four posts within this series, let me know and I will send you the links!

Move a little. When you’re feeling lethargic and tired, get moving. Exercise increases endorphin levels, which in turn gives you a boost of energy. Regular exercise is also shown to improve concentration.

Laugh. Laughing is good for your health. Something as simple as getting the giggles or having tears rolling down your face…. laughter. It can sooth tension, stimulate your organs, and relieve stress.

Say NO. Saying yes to everything will drain you pretty fast. Set boundaries that protect your family time and personal time and learn to say no to what doesn’t fulfill you.

Listen to your gut. This means your literal gut and your intuitive gut. If you’re constantly feeling stressed, overworked, or overwhelmed, you may feel knots in your stomach. Give yourself time to regroup and listen when your intuition tells you it is time for a break.

Change your perception. Look at negative mental thoughts and emotional energy patterns that may occur during your day. Try to reprogram your brain so that for every negative thought you have, you replace it with a positive one.

Have alone time. Filling your own cup first means you can then fill the cups of others. It isn’t selfish to spend time alone to recharge. Take 30 minutes a day to do what you love to refresh your spirit.
